Cape Community Orchestra Fall Concert

The Cape Community Orchestra, led by Music Director, Nancy Torrente, invites you to its fall concert, Celebrating American Composers – 250 Years of Great Music, on November 21 and 22, in Harwich and South Yarmouth, respectively. Spanning the 250 years since the Declaration of Independence was written, the program traces the nation’s story from the anxious and uncertain days of the American Revolution to the emergence of contemporary American music. The works celebrate the grandeur of the natural environment, the influences of jazz and immigrant and African American cultures, and the enduring efforts to defend the country and honor those who have given their lives for American democracy.
