Cape Community Orchestra Spring Concert Series

The Cape Community Orchestra invites you to their Spring Concert Series "Give Me Five! Celebrating Musical Fives!" The program will celebrate all things five, performing well known works with the number five in their titles. The most recognizable is the first movement from Beethoven's 5th Symphony with it's famous four note motif. The rousing Finale of Shostakovich's 5th Symphony, and the beautiful opening chorale of the final movement of Mendelssohn's 5th Symphony, are sure to please audiences of all ages. The concert will also include movie music from Star Wars, and Dave Brubeck's famous jazz piece, "Take Five".
