First Congregational Church UCC Speaker Series

First Congregational Church UCC invites you to teh first of our Speaker Series.  Marc L. Parnes MD, President of the Columbus Ohio Medical Association Foundation will speak on the Art and Economics of Medicine, delving into that part of medicine beyond the "white coat" that we seldom get a chance to discuss, much less understand in today's fifteen minute office visit.  Early in his career, he became aware of the importance of the patient/physician relationship and its critical role that greatly enhances the medical knowledge between two individuals in the process of healing as well as the economics of medicine we personally and nationally face in today's economy.  Dr. Parnes retired after 33 years from active practice in 2012 and remains as the foundation's business manager.  Please join us in the Parish House located next door to the historic sanctuary.  Light refreshments will be served.
