REYNARD THE FOX, OR THE TRICKSTER! by Fred Sullivan, Jr. is part fable, part satire, rolled into one comedic adventure. The fox as trickster and the lion as king are archetypes as old as Aesop. These ancient tales were ribald, irreverent, and delightful. Reynard the Fox was a peasant hero - an anti-hero. He relied on his cunning, charm and wit when faced with threats of brute strength or oppressive power. Reynard’s methods may be complicated and questionable, but they’re always entertaining. This new comedy about a very old tale has an amazing cast of larger-than-life characters. Join us for this hilarious, irreverent, fast-paced and delightful tale!
